Happy
christmas 2022
&
happy new year 2023
Hello you good fellows !
Just to wish you an enjoyable festive time at Christmas and the New Year!
The elected committee for the CCC that replaced me at a Bristol Hotel dinner meeting a few years ago (before the Covid pandemic closed us down almost for good) is now very much reduced. They organized some magnificent events (drives and exhibitions) for which we are all truly grateful.
However, I cannot contemplate a classic car vacuum in Warsaw – it needs to be filled.
I have therefore resumed the Chairmanship of the CCC for the moment and hope to plan and initiate some driving excursions, exhibitions, dinners and so on as we did in the past. Suggestions are all gratefully received. CCC Members who attended in the past found the experience most enjoyable.
I feel the survival of the CCC should be somehow guaranteed as February 2023 will be the 10th anniversary of its formation.
Our first excursion to that grand stately home, Nieborów, was on 22 April 2013 https://casualcars.blogspot.com/2013/04/excursion-to-country-house-of-nieborow.html
Some other excursions are documented here when the internet journal at that time was being updated https://casualcars.blogspot.com/
I intend to re-contact you all with suggestions for the New Year 2023. I will do this by email as I know many of you are not on or disillusioned with FB and will not have access to news or plans through the CCC FB site. If you no longer wish to be on the CCC mailing list (or any of your friends do), please write and tell me.
We did this once before and most, although not all, elected to remain.
Until next year then, enjoy your well-earned festive breaks and particularly New Year’s Eve!
